Hi,

The description in the data sheet doesn't say anything about powering 3 phones only.  It says 8 FE PoE.  Have you try a different phone and see if you can power up all 8 ports?

2960C PD PSE Switch 8 FE PoE, 2 x 1G, PoE+ LAN Base

Data sheet:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/switches/ps11527/ps11289/data_sheet_c78-639705_ps11290_Products_Data_Sheet.html

HTH

Post the output to the command "sh power inline".

Hi guys,

not sure if this is still relevant 9 month after you post your question but:

This switch can only provide up to 30W of PoE power coming from a UPOE Parent switch. 22W when powered from the auxiliary 110v power supply. These 22W can be allocated to any of the 8 downlink ports. But the total PoE budget is only 22W. Each one of your 69xx IP phone draws 7W. 7W x 3 = 21W. You are maxed out.

If you need PoE simultaneously on the 8 ports, go with 2960 8PC-L

I hope it helps

Alex
