WS-C2960CX-8PC-L booting Loop

Dear Experts,

Kindly, i have an Switch WS-C2960CX-8PC-L when i boot it , it entered in Loop

the IOS Version is c2960cx-universalk9-mz.152-4.E5

i Format the Image and installed again ( c2960cx-universalk9-mz.152-4.E5.bin ) , it successfully copied

but it doesn't work the switch still in the booting loop

i tried another image ( c2960cx-universalk9-mz.152-4.E2.bin ) , it successfully copied, and also it doesn't work

is there anything to do before open a case witch the Cisco TAC ?

There is this bug which fits the bill, but you are on a known fixed version:

...so it looks like a hardware issue. You can confirm with a call to TAC, or just RMA the switch.

you do not give use the error why it goes onto a loop,

some console logging  output may help.

 

parallel you may try to install the software using the .tar instead of only the .bin

sometimes some fpga firmware needs to be upgraded too. this file is present in the .tar
