WS-C3650-24TS and GLC-GE-100FX problem

dmtt

Level 1

I will try to connect two WS-C3650-24TS switches with GLC-GE-100FX SFP modules. Link is up.
Packet is outcome from one interface, but do not come to another interface. Test with ping. The settings on both switches are the same.

Downgrade to 03.07.05E (cat3k_caa-universalk9.SPA.03.07.05.E.152-3.E5.bin). Traffic has gone through a 100BaseFx connection. The LED indicator on the port was working correctly. Command 'show interface' show the correct speed of 100Mb/s.

Can try removing

duplex full

from each switch and test again?

HTH

I already checked half-duplex, it was by default. Output collision count increased. No input packet.

Upgrade the firmware.
I've seen two bugs with this behaviour.
I will need to trawl through my emails to find the bug IDs.

Which version should I update? 16.6.3 (cat3k_caa-universalk9.16.06.03.SPA.bin)?

Try 16.6.3.

I updated both switches to version 16.6.3 and performed the checks. I did not notice any changes. Problem still exists.

Raise a TAC case.  I believe you're hitting CSCvb69066.

Which one is correct?

interface GigabitEthernet1/1/1
 switchport access vlan 2121
interface GigabitEthernet1/1/1
 switchport access vlan 1121
