Hey all experts,
I have 1 3650 switch here connected with 2 Crestron devices at port gi1/0/3 and gi1/0/41 with standard POE 15.4w.
But the switch is showing errors like below:

Have tried to shut/noshut, power inline never and static at high priority to 15.4w. The port POE operation status will always be put into faulty stage.
Any clue how to solve it? Will talk to cabling vendor try to direct connect switch and Crestron devices, bypass the long cables for test purpose.

Is this working one failing or never worked ? is the same issue with other ports also ? is any other device working as expected ?
what is the end device power requirement, 15.4 or more ?
can you also post show version from the device please.

Hello,
run a cable diagnostics test on the interfaces and post the output:
test cable-diagnostics tdr int gig 1/0/3
test cable-diagnostics tdr int gig 1/0/8
test cable-diagnostics tdr int gig 1/0/15
test cable-diagnostics tdr int gig 1/0/41
show cable-diagnostics tdr int gig 1/0/3
show cable-diagnostics tdr int gig 1/0/8
show cable-diagnostics tdr int gig 1/0/15
show cable-diagnostics tdr int gig 1/0/41

Post the complete output to the following commands:
sh version sh lldp interface <PORT> sh interface <PORT> CONTROLL

Cisco TAC suggest to do an RMA to solve this problem...so I guess it is a hardware issue in the end...thank you all for the help anyway!

Ask them about MOSFET.

I had the same problem.
All the AP's on the switch were offline.
sh power inline saw them as IEEE PD.
show power inline

Gi1/0/2 Access-Point notconnect xxx auto auto 10/100/1000BaseTX
Gi1/0/3 Access-Point notconnect xxx auto auto 10/100/1000BaseTX
a reload of the switch solved the problem .
All AP's were coming online.
