Hi Esteban,
It is normal to have this output. Example if there says IPX that just means that is capable is not saying that is receiving IPX.
Unicast Entries
vlan mac address type protocols port
-------+---------------+--------+---------------------+--------------------
1 aaaa.aaaa.aaaa static ip,ipx,assigned,other Switch
6 aaaa.aaaa.aaaa static ip,ipx,assigned,other Switch
Description:
static means that the mac address was configured or hardcoded manually on that port.
dynamic means that the port learned the mac address dynamically.
For the MAC address table entries that are used by the routed ports, the routed port name is displayed in the "vlan" column not the internal VLAN number.
The keyword definitions for the protocol variable are as follows:
Please inform me if you need more detail

Aru

Hi
But the same Mac Address entry for all condigured VLANs?

Hi Esteban,
From this output, this type field indicates that this MAC address aaaa.aaaa.aaaa configured statically on swtich.
Example:
To display the static MAC address table entries only, use the show mac-address-table static command.
show mac-address-table static [address mac_addr | interface type number | protocol protocol | vlan vlan_id]
For the MAC address table entries that are used by the routed ports, the routed port name is displayed in the "vlan" column not the internal VLAN number
Switch# show mac-address-table static
Unicast Entries
vlan mac address type protocols port
-------+---------------+--------+---------------------+--------------------
1 0030.94fc.0dff static ip,ipx,assigned,other Switch
Fa6/1 0030.94fc.0dff static ip,ipx,assigned,other Switch
Fa6/2 0030.94fc.0dff static ip,ipx,assigned,other Switch
Please clarify the below points,
1. What is the HW and SW verion on this switch?
2. Is there any other switch do you see this same behavior?
3. Did you do any change? Is it first time when you see this issue on this node?
Regards,
Aru

Hi,
Just inspect the running config for any static mac entries. U'll find a non-specific static entry configured for the "aa....aa" MAC.
