Hi,

When i boot up my WS-C6500-E only the supervisor module gets powered up. The other modules are completely dark. I think the supervisor has a problem in the module bringup process. Her is a print of the supervisor diagnostics:

I'm suspecting it's because of your power supply. What is your current power supply and what are your cards?

Im not sure exactly what model the powersupplies are but both the 'input ok' and 'fan ok' LEDs are green on both. I have tried moving the supervisor to different locations but always with the same result. I have 1 module with 48 ethernet ports and 4 modules with 24 MTRJ (fiber) ports each. I tried moving theese around but without results.

I would put in a TAC case on this. Something is not right with the supervisor showing a "MAJOR ERROR". It appears to be a hardware problem with the supervisor in slot five.

HTH,

Mark
