WS-X6748-GE-TX interface drop

We have number of WS-X6748-GE-TX modules on number of 6513 switches. all switches run SUP720 CATOS 8.2-2.

What happens is that the ports on WS-X6748-GE-TX module often lost connectivity to the servers. It usually drops for 2-15 sec and happens for 1-2 min and then stable for a couple of hours. other module on the same switch doesnot have this issue.

anyone know if there is any known issue with this module?

If a port is hard set to 10 or 100 Mbps upon initialization of a WS-X6748-GE-TX line card, receive traffic will become stuck. This occurs on hardware revision 2.1 when running 12.2(18)SXD software. Using other hardware revisions or older software does not appear to be affected.Set the speed to auto in the module to resolve.Refer URL for more information on Network Modules on a switch.
