Advanced Networking/Dual Interface on migrated VM VCS issue

I'm in the process of migrating all my VCS appliances to VM.  Thus far, all my VCS-C and VCS-E migrations have been completed succesfully, however I've run into an issue with a VCS-E that has the advanced networking option.

I've been able to get an "Advanced Networking" key re-hosted to the VM OK and restarted the VCS-E, but the "LAN 2" options still aren't appearing in the System > IP menu.

Any ideas?

I just fixed it through a factory reset > apply key > reboot (but yes it did have the NICs assigned)

I should also note that I was running X8.2.2, I tried upgrading to X8.6 but that didn't help.

Did you do a restart or reboot?

Since restart and reboot do two different things, one only restarts the VCS software while the latter reboots the entire server including OS and software.  If you did a restart, try a reboot, as it's what is mentioned in the VCS Install Guide after adding release and option keys.

You could also try to remove the option key, reboot, add the option key back, then finally reboot again.

Initially I did restart, but now I've followed your suggestions but still no dice :(

Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question, but I assume that the VM has two virtual NICs assigned in its config?

Interesting the VCS accepted they option key, but failed to give access to the features.  Either case, glade you were able to get it working, at least it was a fresh install so a factory reset didn't really wipe anything important out..

Yeah... I suspect it might have had something to do with the fact that I initially restored a database that had NIC 2 config in it prior to actually installing the option key.  The factory reset meant I could install the option key and then restore the database after the option key was installed.
