Blue screen in presentation mode

Hi all,

It seems a blue screen appears when switching to presentation of PC mode on our Cisco TV...this occurs regardless of whether the laptop is plugged in or not (via display adapter). Any ideas why this might be the case? Been this way since install...have ruled out problems with the display port on the laptop.

Thanks all

LP

Make sure that the cable is connected to the correct input on the endpoint, typically it's the DVI input, but can't say for sure without knowing what endpoint you have.

Is it possible that you have the presentation source set to a source not in use, e.g. camera 2?

Thanks for the suggestion I will check the presentation source setting today.

Ok presentation sources appear ok, including all the settings in the advanced config re: presentation sources.

When your laptop is connected is set to output using the VGA cable, if you check the status of the video input on the endpoint, does the input say something is connected as well as showing it's receiving a valid resolution (see below)?

  • Video Input Connector [n]
  • Video Input Source [n]

[n] is the input number the laptop is connected to.
