Hi Everyone,
I was looking over an issue i have been having with SX10's and scheduling conferences in TMS - the Bridge will not initiate an incoming call but instead when the conference starts the SX10 will initiate the call instead. Does anyone know if this is a known behavior of the SX10? I thought maybe it was because it was SIP only; however, i forced my Edge95 to only be able to communicate through SIP and it worked as it should of.
Thank you,
Alex

Update:
If i disallow all incoming and outgoing H323 and IP calling it will always be an outgoing call even with the Edge95 using SIP only.
Is there something i am missing?

You should be able to make in/outbound calls with the SX10. Tell us more about your environment and configuration of all devices involved.
Under TMS > device > Settings, do you have each endpoint and conference bridge set to allow all in/outbound calls?
Is the Edge 95, SX10, and conference bridge registered to a VCS or some type of call control server?

As of the CE8.2.0 software release, the SX10 can support H.323, so if you're using a predominantly H.323 environment, you can make all your SX10s do H.323 as well, and not need to worry about any Interworking between H.323 and SIP and overcomplicating your environment where it's not necessarily needed.
