call keeps getting rejected for Cisco Room Bar

Hi, I have setup both SIP and H323 calling and both are working fine.

However, if i try to call to an IP device, the call keeps getting rejected. Reason shown is 'called party not registered'. I can't find any solutions online to fix this.

What Call Control platform are you using, and is it configured correctly to handle calling to IP addresses?

It's a Room Kit.

I followed the exact config settings of my other older room kit devices so it should supposedly handle the same calling to IP address but somehow on the new room kit device it fails.

From the older devices, it switches to SIP for IP calling and H323 for pexip calls. But on this new device, it directs rejects the call under H323. It doesn't switch to SIP.

You’re not answering the question that @Wayne DeNardi posted to you. What call control system are you using with your video conferencing systems? Room Kit is a device model, not a call control system. Also in your original post you mentioned that it was a Room Bar and now you mentioned Room Kit, what type of video conferencing system is it that you’re asking about?

apologies. it's a room bar.
My hq is telling me we're using pexip.

Pexip is from what I know not a call control system, it’s a video conferencing system/provider. Are you an end user trying to use this device or are you part of the IT department trying to setup the device? If you’re the former please contact you corporate support organisation.

i'm part of the IT trying to setup the device.

i'm guessing this is the cause.

That may be something that is contributing to your issue, but your call control platform can be configured to get around that.  I'd suggest you consult the Pexip Infinity Docs (especially the Call Routing of IP addresses) or seek further assistance on the Pexip Forums.

Pexip Infinity is indeed a call control platform (and quite a good one too!).   But it’s not something that you’ll find a lot of help with on these Cisco forums.   I’d suggest you seek help on the configuration of the Pexip platform and how to configure it correctly for your call type on the Pexip forums.  https://community.pexip.com

Thanks, I’ve learned something new today.

Is the device you're trying to call registered to your Pexip environment? Looking at your picture it looks like you're dialing a 10.0 address - funny the remote and callback numbers look the same at the bottom. If it's an internal device why don't you have it registered to the same Pexip service you are using for this device? And are you really using H.323 instead of SIP? I agree with Wayne that this is likely a Pexip configuration change to fix it, but I'm trying to get a better understanding of your call environment.
