Cisco Codecs Exprassway registration

Hello dears,

We have Spark Room Kit codecs. Need to make and receive external SIP/H323 IP calls. Is is possible to achieve it with  Expressway solution. We don't want to NAT the Public IP addresses directly to codecs.

If it is  possible , could you please clarify how it will happen. Will remote site dial Expressway-E IP address ?

Yes this is possible.

Even if you don't have CUCM,then you can directly register your endpoints on expressways (need to purchase option keys for registration) and can do AV calls.

- remote site can reach you number@ip or number@domain you just need to create SRV records in public DNS for your domain for SIP and H323.

Thank you very much for reply. Will i need RMS (Rich Media License) licenses for that in Expressway?

Hello

Yes for every b2b call you will need RMS Licenses on expressway .
