Hi all,

I am new to IPTV configuration , I have cisco IP/TV 3423 Broadcast server with Release 3.0 , it has some hardware issue,

i can't use it ,can I install the software on an Intel box ..

PLS help

Yes. It will run fine on any Win2K Server OS. Actually, Version 3.0 came out on NT4 ... I'm not sure about Win2K Server. I'm pretty sure it'll run, but I believe that when I upgraded from NT4 to Win2K Server, I also upgraded the IPTV software to 3.2.

Be advised that when you re-install the Server and Content Manager, you will need a software key (printed on a card that came with the hardware).

There can be some issues with the video board relating to which slot it runs in (varies with the motherboard). If you get hardware errors, move the video board to another slot and try again.
