Hello

Do somebody know by experience or by some official source what is the firmware maker of all cisco-tandberg telepresence endpoints?

There are different series of telepresence endpoints like:

DX
IX
CE
TC

EX

SX

CTS

etc.

I´m about to take 210-065 Collaboration exam and this point is some confusing

I´d appreciate any help.

Regards

All of the newer endpoints (and things such as VCS/Expressway/etc) run a Linux based OS.

Some of the older endpoints (ie the MXP series) ran a modified version of the eCos Operating System.

Similar questions have been asked in these forums before.  See Operating System and Root Access to MXP F9.3.4 both of which have discussed the above listed OSes.

Hello Wayne

Thanks for your response.

You are right on that.

But I think I didn´t explain myself.
What I meant was how to know what devices have what firmware:
i.e. As far as I understand SX endpoints have tandberg firmware, so you know their CLI uses commands like "xstatus"

In the other hand CTS endpoints like CTS 500 use a cisco system-based firmware so, their CLI uses command like "utils network..."

MCU have commands just like "shutdown"

I´m trying to figure it out so I can remember what commands apply to each one

Thanks!
