Hi,
am looking at acquiring jabber client licenses to install on my physical appliance so that
i can do video & BFCP with TP devices already registered to this Gatekeeper.
we do not have a BE6k in Place but i think this is possible?

Cisco Jabber requires CUCM for call control, it can't register to a VCS.

Hello Patrick,
Ok, that good but let me illustrate the setup/
i have already setup cisco CE1000 VCS-c appliance gatekeeper that MCU 4505 registers
to along with other endpoints and effectively do video with multisite
i now intend to now push jabber client for users on their devices to be able to join multiway video session but i do not have CUCM for call control so i was wondering if i can just acquire jabber client and have it install on the CE1000 VCS-c appliance server and your answer is No?
please confirm.

You are correct, as mentioned by Patrick, Jabber cannot be registered on the VCS.
There used to be a Jabber version (called Movi) that had the capability to register to VCS, but this software is already EoS.
