Configuration in SX20 with ISDN Link box in NAT network

Dear all,

We have sucessfully paired the SX 20 TC 6.0 with ISDN Link IL 1.1, and mapped with Public IP.Here is the detail,

The connection is like this WAN <--> ISDN Link <--> SX20

Sx 20

IP: 192.168.30.190

SM: 255.255.255.0

GW: 192.168.30.1

ISDN Link

IP"192.168.30.191

SM: 255.255.255.0

GW: 192.168.30.1

The ISP router map 192.168.30.190 <-> Public IP with any-to-any port.

The SX20 can receive the H323 video call, however, it failed to dail out.

We are wondering the public IP maaping should be either SX 20 or ISDN link box?

Best Regards,

Ben

Could you tell us a bit more how your deployment looks like?

Do you just use h323 with direct mode or are you registered to a VCS?

Btw, I would not map any ports from the public to the endpoint

and do not forget to set a secure password.

Please remember to rate helpful responses and identify

Dear Martin,

There is no VCS in client site.

It is strange that SX can dail out as a SIP call protocol.

I know it is unsafe to map any ports from public, as it is in the testing environment now.

Dear all,

We have confirmed it is client firewall's problem.

Based on this, the public IP map should be focus on codec.

Thanks all.

Best Regards,

Ben
