Could a Lutron electricity system be controlled from Cisco touch 10 SX20 through Lutron's telnet access point?

Hello, 

I'm trying to control our Lutron electricity system through the touch pad Cisco touch 10 SX20.  I'm trying to find a way to do this through Lutron's Telnet integration protocol, but cannot find specific commands on connecting from Cisco to telnet in the macro settings.  Is there a specific or better way to do this?  Would I need to create an external program to do this?

The codec is not able to make an outbound telnet connection.  You would have to see if the Lutron (i have no experience in these) is able to accept commands via HTTP - in which case the codec could do it via a macro.  Alternately, you'll need to have some other device (a basic Raspberry Pi could be used if you don't have other capable infrastructure) that would monitor the codec for your UI button presses on the Touch 10, then it could trigger the appropriate telnet connection to the Lutron to do what you need it to do.
