CTS 3000 over internet using VCSC e VCSEX

Hello to all,

One of our customers currently use:

2 CTS 3000

1 CTS 1300

CUCM

CTS Manager

multipoint Switch

Now he needs to make calls through the Internet.

My questions are:

Can I use a firewall traversal solution with VCSC in the trunk with the CUCM?

If I use this solution a CTS can call another over the Internet?

If it can do this call, the display is the classic with three monitors?

Do I have to use the Telepresence Server to generate the call?

Hi Artemisio,

You can use the following setup

CTS>CUCM>>>Sip Trunk>>>VCS-Control>>>VCS-Expressway>>>Internet>>> Endpoint on Internet.

Please note that if you are using 3 screen endpoint, the display will only single screen, because this wont be a TIP negotiated call.

To have better experience, you can use Telepresence Server to host the call and make your CTS and Interet user join the TPS. So the multi-screen experience will be retained.
