Hi,
We are facing an issue in SX20, when we are putting Multipoint option in Settings - Conference 1 setting as OFF mode.
In that case video call option is getting disable for more than one site, however we are able to dial out one more participant over an audio call.
Can we get an option wherin we can completely disable MS option key like in MXP series codec, wherein we could able to establish only point to point call.
Pls suggest solution on this issue if it is available with anyone?
Thanks & Regards,
Vikram.

Hi Vikram,
There is a way however that is not recomended/supported by cisco.
you can remove the multisite keys from the codec. let me know if you really want to proceed on this task.
it would require root access.
Thanks

Hi Vikram,
Unfortunately, I dont think you can disable the extra audio call feature which is available. I believe you will need to open a feature request for this issue.
Thanks

Hi Vikram ,
Threr is a work arround to stop audio call , Configure multiway in codec and configure any uri in it like abc@cisco.com .
This will prevent 2nd audio call as MS call .
Kind regards,
Dharmmesh

Hi Vikram & Cisco
There was a thread about this some time ago.Its always worth checking with the search upfront if somethings
shows up.
A comment to Dharmeshs answer. The trick is that if you use multiway the internal multisite capabiities are
fully disabled. Though I would never set up abc@cisco.com (imagine they start using the address for something) but for example invalid@invalid.ivalid which does and will not exist!
Besides that I would like Cisco to follow up on that, as it could be either seen as a bug (I also expected this
parameter to disable it complety) or for a feature request to either include it in this parameter in the future
or have some parameter to disable the audio call as well.

Dear Ravi,
Can you share commands in root login for disabling the MS option permanantly?
Regards.
Vikram.
