I need to convert all my high quality prompts to *.au files in G729 encoding, because all my calls use the codec G729 and then the gateway will not spend any CPU resources doing transcoding. I have a sample, but no sound application known to man can translate to it or play it, because the header has suffered some Cisco proprietary changes. So the question is: Does Cisco have a utility that can take a Wav or *.g729 file and translate to produce the correct files needed to my Cisco 3845 and 7301?

You can acquire the "recorder" script I wrote and record the prompts in any format.
