Hi Magnus,
nice to see you again.
Ok, but no changes on
= Shared memory : enabled/disabled?
= Named Pipes: enabled/disabled?
= TCP/IP: enabled/Disabled?
= VIA: enabled/disabled?
Only the service SQL Browser?

And also note page 7 of the TMSPE Deployment Guide concerning SQL Server Connnection:
And if using Named Pipes only, also note the comments directly under the SQL Server Connection comments, i.e. Windows Server.

Hi gagain,
now the SQL Browser Service is working and the installation progress comes a step further. During the installation, the operation interrupts with a unkwown error. I've check the logfiles but it is little bit tricky.
Any ideas?

Hi Rasim
So it starts to install, correct? And the installation finished prematurely is that correct? Does it do the roll back under the database configuration or on the web application setup? What is the text in the installaller like "Configuring Database" and then it switches to "Rollback action" or something similar, I am just guessing as I don't remember the exact writing in there at this time. But that might give us a clue on what is going on. For example I have 3 different "possible" issues that you might encounter based on what we have seen.
1. Are you using any special characters in the SQL password?
2. Did you precreate the TMSPE database before installing TMSPE? (Make sure the database name is 'tmspe') case sensitive.
3. User access and database permissions, if you did not pre-create the database and the user that you are connecting with is going to create the database for you, then you must be sure that the user has sufficient permissions. In the installer log file, search for a word "master". If you find the word, does it say something about permissions? If it does, then you need to give the user more permissions and run the installer again.

Hi Magnus,
the installation was after create the database name with lower case name successfully.
The Migrations Tool is always not successfully. But doesnt matter because i have a new clean installation of the TMS Server with greenfield
What is immediate, if you go to provisioning -->User to create some Folders for Movi's ect.. i miss the root folder.
Could that be, because no VCS control is installed now yet. Usually a root folder but should be there without VCS Control?
THX

You dont need to run the migration tool if its a clean install..
Did you run it successfully after installation with an empty opends database? Did you follow the steps for a clean install in the deployment guide?

Yes
Yes
The openDS was empty, we created a second db with tmspe. The PE Tool said, do want use the existing database.during the installation..i decided=yes. But why is the root Folder not in the Provisioning user? i cant created any Folders like Movi ect..

Hi, the root folder should be there... Are there any errors? Do you see the gui? Try another browser maybe? But check the provisioning extension logs and the provisioning extension diagnostics what does it say?

Hi Magnus,
Sorry for the late feedback. One restart of the tms server fix this problem. After the reboot, I was able to set or configure the root folder.
Thank you very much for patients
