VCS-E Phantom Calls

All,

Is there anyway to kill phantom calls on the VCS-E.  We currently have (3) calls listed under the 'Active Calls' section on our VCS-E, however the endpoint they are calling to is not in any calls and we have rebooted the endpoint.  We have tried disconnecting the calls from the VCS GUI, but they never disappear.  We would prefer not to reboot the VCS-E to just remove these phantom entries.

Thanks,

Justin

Thank you,

Maybe there is a way to flush it from the cluster db but at lest I have not seen any documentation about that.

The only option is have found is to restart (see Jens Posting :-) /  reboot  the VCS.

Just search for a management window and do it then. "Ours" did not eat up any call licenses,

it were most of the time not real calls but these voip scan stuff, ...

The other option is just to ignore them till you have to reboot it for an upgrade or some other issue ;-)

Which version do you run?

Re-start instead of re-boot, it still has to be done when no other calls are active, but the VCS-E will come back up in about half the time of a re-boot.

yea, for me thats the choice to take each time if its a reboot or resart, next time I mention both :-)

In short see that the main app on the VCS restarts.

Anyhow, I would say I had seen less zombi calls with >=X7.1.

Think it was X6 where I noticed it the most.

And like I said, if its not really affacting the operation (if so it would be interesting to know how)

I would just keep them there untill a required reboot/restart takes place.

If its on the latest version and its reproducable he should consider to file a bug report to TAC!
