IPad app that controls Telepresence video conference

We are close to purchasing a new multi-site video conference system (SX20), and someone mentioned an IPad application that controls a video conference session similar to the Touch 8 pad. I have been looking all over and I can not find the application that they referred to. Does anyone know of such an App and if so could you tell me what it is called?

Thanks,

Brian Aeschliman

If your VC and room AV equipment is controlled via an external control system (Crestron/AMX/etc), then they usually have iPad / Android / Windows apps too:

For iPads:

     Crestron: http://www.crestron.com/products/apple_mac_iphone_ipod_ipad_control/

TP Control (works for AMX): https://www.touchpanelcontrol.com/products/amx-ipad.html

Or, you may be thinking of the "Intelligent Proximity" feature as seen in the Collaboration Summit 2013 Keynote Demo (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOWiXy50bEI).  This feature is not yet released.

Cisco Intelligent Proximity is avaiable now. Follow this link for more info:

Cisco Proximity has actually been available for quite a while now (the thread you've responded to is over two years old).

There's even a whole section of this support forums dedicated to it: https://supportforums.cisco.com/community/12156681/cisco-proximity

Note: there are a number of things you need to ensure you have in place to get this to work, and it's not supported on all endpoints.
