Hello

Could you provide more information.

How many people are experiencing the issue,whats your environment like ?

In the mean time there are similar issue like yours on the forum you should check:

Hello ;

         Internally it is registered but externally (means through expressway ) we are facing this issue.

KV

The most likely reason is that jabber client cannot resolve the FQDN of the expressway domain.

Does the mobile and remote access work for some accounts and not for others or it doesnt work for everyone?

If its for every account that tries to use the Mobile remote access please confirm your DNS records.( collab edge srv record must be present)

Take a look at :Cisco Jabber DNS Configuration Guide

 the http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/jabber/Windows/9_7/CJAB_BK_C606D8A9_00_cisco-jabber-dns-configuration-guide.pdf

Thanks , i have checked the DNS record are on right place but i read that uds should block from outside i have not do this step .what is the procedure for it .

Appreciate your reply

Do you use two DNS servers? Inside and outside?

The only way to block resolution of uds- and cuplogin- srv is just not to create them on outside server.

Commonly such error can mean just almost everything, but it is good point to start investigation from dns.

Kirill

Thanks Kirill ;

                 we have two DNS , i will check all dns entries and get back to you

guys..

Thanks for all help !!

Hi ;

     The DNS configuration is ok , but still is not working . i dont know how to fix this issue .

Ok, let's clarify, what u have (correct me, where I am wrong):

1. We assume,that outside server's config is okay (there are only collab_edge srv for outside domain);

2. Traversal Zone is up (everything is okay with certs, IM&P nodes,CM are added);

3. Both domains (inside/outisde) are created on E/C and properly configured;

4.Inside DNS server has has srv records (cuplogin,cisco-uds) for both domains:outside,inside;

If yes, then you need to reset jabber, make "ipconfig /flashdns" on client, flash dns on E/C.

Start logging with packet captures and tries to login. After that, start checking from packet captures: client, E/C. Try to search for DNS lookups, if evry node tries to find appropriate server (client->E, C->IM&P) .

Kirill
