Has anyone encountered issues with VC freezing in calls between Cisco VC and Lync? We have integrated the two platforms using a separate VCS-C but VC is not working well. Audio works well though. Greatful for any advice

Hi
The version is X7.1 and we have configured B2BUA.
Lync has the latest version but other than that I do not know what configuration that was done there. Is there anything I can ask that team to check for in their end?
TMS is version 13.1.2
Thanks for responding quickly!

Tony,
Some checks.
- were you using lync integration before upgrading to x7?
- if yes, have you deleted any zones created before using the B2BUA feature?
- could be possible that the calls are still going through the old zones you setup and not the B2BUA zone
- While you configure a B2BUA zone it automatically create necessary zones.
- search rules will be pointing to this new subzone
Also for utilizing the B2BUA zone the lync routes has to pointed to port 65072. if you have setup to 5061 and you have the old config still exist the call from Lync to VC unit will be using the old zone config for the calls and will not utilize the B2BUA funtionality.
i think that could be a reason for the freez you are seeing.
But as i said we have this issue on x6.1 sw ver and to come out of this limitation the new B2BUA functionality has been implemented.
cheers

We will check this out immediately and this could definately be the reason.
