Hi Folks,
I have a strange BFCP issue on our MCU4501(4.5-1.55) as the following:
CUCM 8.6.2 sip trunked to VCS Control x8.5.1, and each server has some endpoints registered. The issue is, regardless what server the endpoints register to, when they dial into a scheduled conference (sip registered on vcs-c), after 10 mins the bfcp will stop working. The MCU web portal for that conference-content tab, will display a resolution mismatch for the content recipients. This issue is 100% reproducible.
Any idea what might have caused it? Thanks!

Hi Chenzhe,
This could be related to the following bug on CUCM 8.6
https://tools.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCtq79477/?reffering_site=dumpcr
This is primarily because of the inability of CUCM to handle mid-call re-invite which comes with change in ip/port of BFCP.
You can collect traces and engage TAC to verify the same as the fix is available in CUCM 9.x and higher.

Hi Manish,
thank you for your quick reply.
I just recreated the issue with two VCS registered endpoint, so just to remove CUCM from the call setup. And the BFCP stopped working after 10 mins again. So does it look like an issue on the MCU only?

Yes, in that case the bug I mentioned can be ruled out. Try checking with TAC if possible.
