Does anybody know if the external PSU of an MXP is covered by the systems service contract?
Thanks/cheers jens

As long as you did not pour water over it it shall be fine :-)
There was a time where we had plenty of systems where these adapters died, I do not
recall having had issues getting them replaced, at least during TANDBERG times.
I would just open a service request for it.
I also saw some MXP systems where the connector on the unit was the issue, so cross check
with an other system that its really the power supply.

Thanks Martin - never bothered to open TAC cases for these in the past as we've got enough generic psus laying around here which works, but we just had another one go so thought we should try to score a replacement.

I can confim that they are covered. We had one repalced yesterday. They didn't want the old one back either.
Edit: Sorry for responding to such an ancient topic - these new forums showed it at the top of one of the lists making it look like a new topic.
