Hi Ralph,
The only way is to restore the codec to factory default settings :
Turn the C20 off by pressing the physical reset button. Now hold the physical reset button for 15 seconds, the LED will start blinking red. Release the button and push it twice within the next 5 seconds (the led will turn green on each push). The LED will start blinking green and the factory reset will begin. The C20 will come up again with factory defaults.
Hope this answers your question.

Also, when you're prompted to login, you can login with
username: pwrec
This would confirm if the codec needs to be restored to factory default settings, type Yes & the codec would be restored and would accept the default password.

What commands we need to backup is the xConfigure and xStatus?
Thanks

Ralph,
The configuration is only contained in xconfig !! You can also take a backup of xstatus but that is only required for the options keys and to check the status of the system. Factory resetting the device will not wipe out the option keys. Hence, you can go ahead and just backup the xconfig.
