what will be the phone type for the Cisco TelePresence Profile 52/55 on CUCM 11.5 when we provision it as a new VC unit

That generation of Profiles are generally C series codecs - web into it and see if it's a C20, C40, or C60, or just open the door in the front if you're at the unit, that will be your answer. C series codecs are supported with CUCM as Telepresence endpoints.
