Hi.
We've replacing failed camera on SX20 with a "new" one using RMA procedure. It comes with S01777-2.0 FINAL FW (first released in TC6.1).
Codec has already latest TC7.3.4 FW installed and after connecting the camera it starts to upgrade (30-40mins) and constantly cycling in this state. Do we have to downgrade first to TC6.1 (TC7.1) to successfully upgrade to the latest camera FW?
Thanks.
Marcel

The camera should be able to upgrade, don't see anything in the release notes that mentions you have to upgrade a certain way. However you might want to try and downgrade to TC6.3 when the next firmware version was released, and then upgrade to TC7 software. If for some reason you can't get the camera to upgrade at all, suggest you reach out to the TAC engineer you processed your RMA and he can help or submit a second RMA.
