Dear Expert
My VCSE all the sudden cannot working.
I have try the following but I still can get VCSE
1) I able to ping it, but cannot access it on by web admin. It can't find it by web either by https or http.
2) I try to telent it. I able see the "Login is as" message, but once I enter the user name and press enter, I got disconnect by VCSE.
3) I plug in a monitor and keyboard to the VCSE. I am not able to login to my VCSE using the existing account. like admin.
It is a hardware failure of my VCSE.
Is factory restore the only way to fix it?
Please a help
THX
Best Regards
Tung

Hi Tung,
It seems the software might be corrupted in your case and need a software reload.. the way is to open a TAC case.
Thanks

Possibly VCS application is not up and running properly.
Are you able to login VCS as “root” user and restart VCS by executing “reboot” command (example, ~ # reboot) to see whether it help starting up the application once again?

If you able to login VCS as root account (while still have a problem for accessing VCS by admin account), you still able to upgrade VCS software, but command base not via Web GUI.
Procedure is available on Infrastructure Handbook, https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-15644.
