Got a head scratcher.
I have two VCSCs clustered. One at Site A and the other at Site B. Running with no issues.
One codian 4520 with a permanent conference created.
What is happening is users are connecting and one will connect and have no video just a gray screen.
The user disconnects and the gatekeeper is changed and reconnects. Video is good. Happening at random times.
Encryption is set to best effort on systems. The codian has multiple VMR's created using the same config templates.
Summary: Call will connect with no video and change the gatekeeper and reconnect than it's good. Even going back to the original gatekeeper and reconnecting the call than is good.
Systems are on Ce8.3.x or Ce9.1.x or Ce9.4.x some are running TC7.3.7 also.
Any ideas would be helpful in isolating and correcting the issue.
I even rolled back on DX70 from Ce9.4.2 to Ce9.1.3 just to see if that helped.
Thank you.

If both of your cameras work when manually selected but speaker track isn't working, your problem isn't with the HDMI cables, but it might be with the Ethernet cable(s). Can you control the cameras individually with ST disabled? If you can do that but ST isn't working, check your connections.

My initial thoughts are that you have a network/firewall issue between some of your endpoints, the VCSes, and/or the MCU. A "No video" issue is usally caused by this.
I'd also highly recommend that you try to have a consistent software version deployed across your endpoint models rather than the many different software releases you have listed - supporting the interaction of so many different versions will end up being a support nightmare - not to mention the inconsitent user experience between all those different versions and feature sets. Pick a single TC version (ie TC7.3.16) and a single CE version (ie CE9.7.1) and use those consitently for best compatibility and usability.

Sorry for delay getting back with you. Yes I agree most likely it's a network/firewall issue.
Going with one software version isn't a good answer. CISCO developers continue to wright patches to fix issue which is good but they also much insure CISCO product software versions between like products basic things work like Voice, Video, network protocols. Features are a different animal.
Classic problem I got now is I received an MX800 G2 running Ce9.4.1 software out of the box to replace a failed MX800 SX80 running TC7.3.7. So I replaced it and now I keep getting speaker track failure and I know the HDMI cables are per the wiring diagram for the older dual camera configuration. I can't get the speaker track to work. Now when i turned on the codec the camera's sense a software upgrade trigger and took 15minutes for the camera to upgrade. Now I don't trust the darn system to work like it did for the last 24 months prior to the SX80 failing ... We are very frustrated with this system.
If you have any ideas to correct the issue it would be apprecaited.
