I am sure this is a simple fix but does anyone have a cut sheet on setting up the call manager to register an MXP1000 (either H.323 or SIP) ??
I know where to set the CM settings on the MXP. Any white paper or procedure would be appreciated ...
Thank you.

Hi Chet
You should find the bottom section of this post useful, it covers all versions of CUCM 8.

Problem now is the CM see's the MXP but will not register. Registration "Unknown" and we can call the MXP from a VOIP phone but can't call out from the MXP until it registers to the CM ???
Any IDEAS???

Hi Chet,
Please follow the below link for the details to get the MXP 1000 configured with CUCM.

If the SIP endpoint does not list in the CUCM, then you add the devices as third party SIP endpoint with advanced sip Profile.
Please try and let us know how it goes.

Registration Interface: cause - failed to send (1 of 1)
-----------There is mentioned a "user" account and pwd on the CUCM... What permissions is the user account???
