Registering MCU 5310 + SX20 to CUCM 8.6

Hello,

Next week i'm going to register several SX20 and MCU 5310 to CUCM 8.6.

First question: do in need to downgrade to TC5 in order to do it with cucm 8.6?

and can you please send me some printscreens of MCU and sx20 that already install in this configuration? or just good links to how to do it...

Hi Shy,

there is no need to downgrade in case SX20 is on TC 5 or above.

native registration for sx20 is supported over TC 5 version so you can use any version above TC 5.

also you need cucm version 8.6.2 or higher.

following configuration need to be done on SX20 SIP config for CUCM registration:

default transport- tcp

outbound- off

type - cisco

URI - DN @ ip address of cucm publisher

proxy 1 address- ip address of cucm

discovery - manual

CUCM device profile configuration will be same as we do for IP phones.
