Room Kit Plus incorrectly classified as SX10 Quick Set when registered in MyDevices

We are trying to get update firmware for a recently purchased Spark Room Kit Plus - now rebranded as the WebEx Room Kit Plus.

 

While trying to access the software we found the downloads all point to the SX10 Quick set...and as a result we can't get any device updates.

We deploy SW via TMS 15.7.0.

The issue we're having is on the device management portal at https://cway.cisco.com/mydevices

Any help or pointers are appreciated. We are happy to file a TAC request but felt this was less pressing.

Works fine when I go to https:/software.cisco.com/download/home and put in "Webex Room Kit Plus".

Puts you at the Software Download page for the right unit - the latest software (as at the date of this post) can be found at https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286316402/type/280886992/release/CE9.4.0

Note: You will need at least TMS version 15.5 to be able to deploy the .COP file to the Room Kit Series endpoints.

We're on Version 15.7.0, but there are no issues with TMS...it's on the device registration portal where we access device entitlements...would TMS somehow affect this?

Also to add: we can find the software downloads with no issues searching for them. The issue occurs when finding that download and having it locked as "requiring additional entitlements", even though we have that device correctly added in the portal. I'm going to try deleting the device and re-adding it to see if that triggers a reset.

You didn't mention what version of TMS you are running, but I think Wayne likely gave you the answer - my guess is you are running a version of TMS that predates the Room Kits, so it doesn't know what it is. Current TMS version is 15.7, what are you running?

TMS Version 15.7.0

This has more to do with the MyDevices backend on the MyWay site, so we can't get to the software entitlements as a result.

 

TMS is fortunately able to work with the device perfectly.
