Should TMS be upgraded before TMSXE ?

Hi team,

I am not sure if I should post this question here, but I am running TMS 14.4.0 and TMSXE 4.0 and would like to upgrade both. I would like to upgrade the TMS to 14.6.2 and the TMSXE to 4.1, can any one tell me what I should upgrade first. I have taken a look at the following link and it shows that the TMSXE should be first. I am some what confused because other told me the TMS should be first, can some one verify,thanks. p14

Hi,

As per the TMSXE Deployment guide ( page 24 )

You must also upgrade to the required version of Cisco TMS before initiating any installation or upgrade of Cisco TMSXE.
