SIP Dialing Failing

We use our SX20's to connect to our WebEx rooms by dialing the WebEx Meeting ID @ourdomain.webex.com, and it works great.  Also connect to Zoom meeting using ID@zoomcrc.com with no issues.

I've noticed that when I've tried connecting to a different service (Pexip), which has a URL ending in .gov it will not connect.  Also tried connecting to Amazon Chime which is meetingid@meet.chime.in and get the message "Call cannot be completed as dialed".

Is there anything that would allow connecting to .com URI's, and not .gov or .in?  The odd thing is that looking at logs on VCSC, Expressway C&E the calls aren't even getting there.  What am I missing?

Edit to add that these SX20's are provisioned to Call Manager.

We do have SX20's at remote locations, that are provisioned to our Expressway-E box, and when calling from them, I see the logs on ExpyE.  Here is one, and I've changed the meeting #'s and domains...

Hello,

Seeing above it seems your calls for .gov and .in not reaching to expressway-C.

Can you check whether you have proper SIP route patterns to route these calls to Exp-C?

And on Exp-C you should have search rule to route it to Exp-E

And on Exp-E you should have search rule to route these to DNS Zone.

Let me know if it helpful.

Thanks.

More Info...

I just tried dialing a jibberish URI of 23423@assdkjsdfk.com and another ending in .gov.  Only the one ending in .com shows in the Expressway logs.

Here are log files from the SX20 when trying to call the URI ending in .gov  Again, I've randomized any private data.

Thanks.

Thanks for the tip on where to look.  I added rules for the domains to the SIP Route Pattern on CUCM and it is working as it should.

Will this fix the endpoints we have at remote locations that are registering through Expressway E?  Do I need to do something for them as well?

Hi,

If your internal endpoints are working fine then ideally it should work for MRA registered endpoints as well.

And in case if it is not working we need to take a look on logs.

Thanks.
