Hi there
we have the unit setup in an 8 person room with a tall celling, so there's some echo going on. With that many speakers I figure I need a table mic regardless to room size.
Is it possible to use aftermarket table microphones or is the SX10 restricted to CTS-MIC-TABL20?
does the CTS-MIC-TABL20 work good?
thank you!

Using the recommended microphone is always best, as using a 3rd party microphone can potentially cause issues if something isn't connected correctly. The CTS-MIC-TABL20 uses a 3.5mm 4 pin connector, instead of the typical 3 most microphones have. You could potentially try and use a 3rd party microphone, see 3rd-party-microphones-cisco-telepresence for more details where some others have tried to wire their own microphone for use with TelePresence systems that use the 3.5mm 4 pin connector such as the C20, SX20, and SX10.

Hi Tom,
The CTS-MIC-TABL20 designed for SX10/SX20/C20 is phantom powered mic using 12V supplied by the codec.
