SX20 and minimum TMS version

Hello,

I'm kinda keen on the SX20 for its low price point compared with what it can do.

It seems to compare pretty favourably with the C40 for general conference room work (1 HD camera, 1 screen, 1 mike)

We are currently managing our other video systems ranging from ancient  to MX300 with Tandberg TMS 13.1. Will the SX20 work with this version or  do we have to upgrade TMS?

Cheers!

Jonas

Hi Jonas,

It would work perfectly with TMS 13.x .

For more tech specs, check

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/ps7060/ps11304/ps11313/ps11424/ps12153/data_sheet_c78-688342.pdf

Let me know if you have any other queries.

Thanks,

Saurabh

@Saurabh: Not entirely correct...meaning I wouldn't bundle everything into "it should work perfectly" in Cisco TMS 13.x

And one should refer to the Cisco TMS Product Support document when researching this type of support information:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/telepresence/infrastructure/tms/interoperability/Cisco_TMS_Product_Support.pdf

When looking into this doc, you will see that the latest tested version for C-series was 13.2.1. Therefore, I would recommend at least upgrading to Cisco TMS 13.2.1 or later.

In fact, and when looking at the 13.2.1 release notes, there are a couple fixed defects concerning SX20s:
