SX20 - Can't view farend presentation full screen

Andrew Dighton

We have an SX20 running 7.3.3 and when the far end sends a presentation we are unable to view it full screen, only in the PIP.

When we present localy and share we have no issues seeing our our presentation full screen.

Has anyone else seen this before?  What settings are we missing?

One thing to check is your settings on video layout for the remote participants.

Log in on your SX20 web interface.

Configuration > Systemconfiguration > Video > Layout

RemoteLayoutFamily: Auto

For more information, refer to this guide under page 114.

Thank you for the feedback and will take another look.

You can press the layout button on your SX20 remote (or the Touch controller) to change the way the presentation is being displayed at the time.  It is normal for it to show you the far end camera as well as the presentation in a PiP layout, but you can, doing the above, force the presentation to be full screen.

Thanks Wayne and yes it should work that way, but currently using they layout button does not work and only shows the far end full screen.

Hope to-do more testing next week.

The next questions then would be around how the screens are configured on the endpoint.

Some quick things to check would be things like:

  • Does it have a dual display licence?
  • How are the displays configured (First/Second/PresentationOnly)?
  • How is the local layout Family configured?
  • How is the PresentationDefault View configured?

Are you able to post a copy of the xconfiguration of the endpoint?
