We have two Hitachi display that are connected to the unit(sx20)
When the unit goes to standby mode the monitors turn off after 5 min because there is no input signal to the monitors.
If someone calls the unit we cannot answer him automatically because the monitors are off and we cannot see or hear him
There must be a workaround to this either by hardware or software, please advise…..

Hi,
did you test it with auto answer ?
check the screen settings if there is a standby mode instead of turn off

If your displays are turning themselves off after 5 minutes of no signal, that's a setting change you're going to need to make on your display panels. It's not anything that the endpoint can control.

Both Anas and Wayne's comments are correct. We have a TV that uses standby mode when the codec goes to sleep and when we get an incoming call, the TV wakes up as well. Not all TVs have a sleep function though.
Another option is trying CEC control on the HDMI outputs? We've used this successfully with some displays as well, the codec will turn on and off the TV if the codec uses compatible CEC commands.
