When configuring LDAP on a TYCS, it asks for a port. The tip next to the field reads 389 OR 3268. Are these the only values this appliance will accept? We're trying to use a known good address for the setup, but it's failing so just wondering if me trying to use port 626 is causing an issue.
thanks,
robert

Hello Robert
TCS does not support connection via LDAPS (port 636). You need to either use 389 or 3268.
Not sure if that is any help in your set up, but If the domain controller is also configured as a global catalog, it can also support LDAP over SSL on TCP port 3269.
Thanks

OK, to be clear, you're saying that it can use 3269, which is LDAP over SSL?

Hi Robert
Sorry for not being clear. TCS still need 389 or 3268, so that wouldn't help here
Regarding LDAP over 3269 there is few documents about this on MS Technet.

Global catalog over SSL. Applications that connect to TCP port 3269 of a global catalog server can transmit and receive SSL encrypted data. To configure a global catalog to support SSL, you must install a Computer certificate on the global catalog.
