Telepresence Room Unit with WebEx

Hi all,

My customer required to use a DX80 registered with UCM as a presenter in a WebEx meeting. I imitated a WebEx meeting from a laptop by using a WebEx account with CMR, then the DX80 dials the access code xxxxxxxxx@xxx.webex.com joining the meeting. The laptop is the meeting host, but cannot assign the DX80 as a presenter. There is another laptop connected to the DX80 for sharing content. Is there any way to fix this issue? The DX80 can be the meeting host by using host key, but we cannot control and monitor all attendees from a VC unit. Thanks!

You don't need to do this - the concept of "passing the ball" in Webex has been obsolete for years. All the person on the video unit has to do is start sharing, it will work. I just tested this on my DX80, while dialed into a webex URI, from the web GUI I could not assign the video system as a presenter, but on the DX I just had to choose to view my PC and then share it. 

Try it - it will work.
