The HTTP Feedback for slot 3 can not be delivered

Sorry for newbie question.  I just added 3 "Cisco Webex Room Kit Plus" to CUCM, TMS and TMS-XE.  Everything works fine, except that all 3 units showing the warning below:

 

WARNING: HTTP Feedback
The HTTP Feedback for slot 3 can not be delivered. There might be a problem with connectivity to the remote server.
•Url: https://192.168.1.3/tms/public/feedback/code.aspx
•Error: Couldn't connect to server

 

What would be the possible cause?  How do I isolate if it is network/firewall related or CUCM/TMS configuration related?  Thank you!

As you use an IP address in the url instead of a FQDN the certificate cannot be verified and likely you have TLS verify set to Yes. If so there are a few options for what you can do.

  • Turn off TLS verify 
  • Change the url to use a FQDN.

The last is given that you actually use a CA signed certificate in TMS and that the device trust the CA. If not the first option is the best one.

However regardless I would recommend you to change the url to use a name instead of the IP address as this could save you work down the line if you for some reason find yourself in the spot where you need to change the TMS server.

What if I no longer use an TMS server? 

I am seeing the following text:

The HTTP Feedback for slot 3 can not be delivered. There might be a problem with connectivity to the remote server.

I am no longer using a TMS server.  I am seeing this on multiple devices.  How do I permanently remove this?

Do this to clear the configuration.

xcommand HttpFeedback Deregister FeedbackSlot:3
