All,
I see this bug has been fixed, what versions has it been resolved in? I notice the bu seems to revolve around TMS v14.1.1 but does not mention what PE version, etc.

That bug applies to TMS Tools, a Windows application that comes with TMS. That's why there is no mention of TMSPE version.

Thomas,
Thanks for the reply, since it says it has been fixed, are we to assume that anything above 14.1.1 would not require a re-install of PE?

Hi Justin,
The info in the bug toolkit was a bit out of date; the correct release is TMS 14.2. It does not require reinstalling TMSPE, but note that TMS 14.2 requires TMSPE 1.1.
By the way: Just using a bug number as the subject of the thread does not work well. You should also add the product to the subject so that other users can know whether the thread is relevant to their expertise.

Hi Kjetil, I´m experiencing this bug in the 14.5. It was upgraded from 14.1.1 directly to 14.5 and it look like the 14.5 itself to not have the fix.
The SQL Server always present the wrong password message and the TMSPE dont´t connect to the database.

Hi Elter,
That would be a separate bug you are experiencing. If you run into CSCue02749, TMS Tools would tell you that the password update went well, but the TMSPE service would still be unable to connect to SQL Server.

That is the case. The TMS Tool show a message that the connection was OK, but TMSPE don´t work (if we check Health page there is a warning that TMS cound´t connect to the database and under SQL Logs show a wrong password for the TMSPE user). Everything is OK with the user in SQL.
The problem just happen with TMSPE. The TMS DB can be connected without problems.
(I posted another case with more details)
