Hi,

Could you please advice if we need to replace the old server with a new (IP setting, server name, FQDN  will be same). At which moment should we physically replace the server and apply IP setting of old server to the new?

Or , is better a New IP/Servername ?

thks

You can migrate from one OS to another and keep the same IP, computer name, and FQDN of the old server.  We did that a couple of years ago when we needed to move TMS from one server to another.  Just make sure you power off the old server first, before you start to configure the new one with the identical information to not cause a conflict.
