MCU: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/conferencing/telepresence-mcu-5300-series/index.html - Multisite Control Unit - allows you to connect multiple participants in the one conference. Can be either hardware- or software-based.

TMS = Telepresence Management Suite - see  http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/conferencing/telepresence-management-suite-tms/index.html - is a management application which allows for complete management of end-points, MCUs, VCS etc, provisioning of JabberVideo clients, and call scheduling.

So, TMS is for management, MCU is for calls involving multiple participants.

thanks..

You can register both the MCU and the VCS to TMS for management and as far as MCU and endpoints are concerned; scheduling purposes. TMS is a management application, you don't "integrate" it as such with anything.

I suggest you take a look at the admin guide: http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/telepresence/infrastructure/tms/admin_guide/Cisco_TMS_Admin_Guide_14-1.pdf

And, of course, the MCU is registered with the VCS for call admission and control purposes, just like you would register end-points to the VCS.

If you want to use features like "Multway", then take a look at the Telepresence Multiway Deployment Guide relevant to the software version of your VCS: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/unified-communications/telepresence-video-communication-server-vcs/products-installation-and-configuration-guides-list.html
