Hello Community,

i have an essential question about security Access in a touch 10 Settings Tab.

On a Telepresence DX80 is a configurable Setting to prevent users made some changes.
CE 9.1.2 -> DX80->Security->Access Pin

In the MX800 are this Setting Point not availaibable.
How can i restrict users made some changes in the MX800
Software: CE 9.1.2

The access PIN on a DX is like the PIN on your smartphone. Because the DX is designed to be a personal device you have the ability to lock it to keep others from using it to make calls. The MX is a conference room device that are generally shared by many people, putting a PIN on it would probably hinder it's use since people would likely forget it.

As far as your concern about users making changes, going into the settings on the Touch 10 of an MX would require a full login, so users can't do anything other than they would to use it - move cameras, change volume, etc.

The Security Access Pin restrict users to make changes on Basic Settings like DHCP, CUCM, VCS, NTP or something like else.

Wich Relations has this to be an Personal Device or a Room System ?

On the Old Tandberg Systems, was possible to restrict users made changes on Basic Settings.

You cannot change any of the settings you mentioned on an MX/Touch 10 unless you have login credentials - it is secured but in a different way. The DX gives you the option to lock out the entire GUI, the MX/Touch 10 does not, it gives you access to adjust cameras, share content, etc without any sort of PIN, but you cannot make config changes.
