Unable to register TandBerg MXP 1000 to CUCM ver, 11.xxx

I am  unable to register my Tandberg  MXP 1000 to the call manager using  H323 , but able when using SIP. I looked at the event apps logs and I didn't  see any communications between the Call Manager and video endpoint. I don't have a firewall in between, so please advise..

Hi,

I think you should be adding this device as SIP only if using with CUCM as state in SRND for other MX series devices.

Moreover I don't see this device listed under supported endpoints and not under the phone model drop down when adding MX series on cucm phone configuration page.

This product has been replaced by EX60 according to the link.

Hi,

This will work only in SIP mode to CUCM 11

I have registered around 10 MXP devices to CUCM 11 and it works only in SIP.

If you still require H323 then register this device to VCS Control as H323 and then trunk your CUCM to VCS Core.
