Hello,
a customer has recorded a personal greeting. But when someone calls the extension he hears the personal greeting and the greeting from Unity : "leave your message after signal or wait for other options" , then the signal comes and you can leave your message.
How can i cut the last part off to hear the signal directly after the personal greeting ???
Any idea, or is it impossible.
Thx for help !
Kind Regards
Ralf

Hi Ralf,
It depends what version of UC you are running. If it's 1.x (yes - see below) if it's 2.x (no - due to needing the Root password). In the soon to be released (next month) UC 7.0 the ability to turn this On/Off is built-in like in the newest Unity versions.
To delete the "Please wait while we transfer your call" message;
For Unity versions prior to 4.1 here is an excellent answer from Jeff @ Cisco;
For Unity versions 4.1 and 4.2 here is another great answer from Jorge;
Hope this helps!

Hi Rob,
thanks for the answer.
But this is not exactly that what i want.
The customer runs UC-Version 2.x.
I want the change the Standard Message.
When you call an extension (with callfwd to voicemail) the Voicemailsystems is responding with : "Extension xxx is not available, please leave your message after signal or wait for other options" then the signal comes and you can leave your message.
I want to change the last part because when you record your own greeting this message is still coming after your own greeting.
The only change is that the text "Extension xxx is not Available" is replaced with your personal greeting. For example : My personal greeting is : "I am not available at the moment, please speak your message after signal"
Now when someone calls the extension(DID)he hear's : "I am not available at the moment, please speak your message after signal" and
"please leave your message after signal or wait for other options" from UC.
This is for a user who calls the customer very boring.
Thanks
Regards

Hi Ralf,
Oops ...sorry about that :) The ability to change "Record Your Message at the Tone" prompt is not available until UC 7.0;
User Templates Edit Greeting
Play the "Record Your Message at the Tone" Prompt
Check this check box to have Cisco Unity Connection prompt callers to wait for a tone before recording their message.
Default setting: Check box checked.
From this good doc;
Or per user;
